open quote Everything is greatly appreciated. The cookies reminded us of home and the coins came as a surprise. Even though we get thank you letters, the coins are so nice and heart felt. They are very special to the guys. We carry them with us at all times as a reminder that we are appreciated.  close quote

The Ride Home
Honoring American POWs - MIAs
National Historic Site - Home of the National Prisoner of War Museum, Andersonville, GA

Grateful American Coin's Board of Directors voted recently to sponsor two former American Ex-POWs at this year's National POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremonies to be held in Andersonville/Americus, Georgia, home of the National POW Museum. The event, "The Ride Home," is hosted by Rolling Thunder®, Inc. chapters throughout the country. For more information specific to the event, please view their website, www.powridehome.org.

We, at Grateful American Coin, ask that you join us in sponsorship of more of these "true American Heroes." Our goal is to sponsor American Ex-POWs and to coin all 120 former POWs at the event. With your support, by donating coins and /or making a monetary donation, we can achieve this goal of $2000. These Americans "sacrificed their freedom so we might enjoy ours." Let's join together and show them that we are grateful and that "We Will Not Forget" what they did for us and this great nation.
